If archives are performed rather than stored, these are the works in which that performance becomes visible. They collect, order, name and revisit, rearrange and repeat: the operations on which any archive depends, carried out at the scale of a body rather than an institution.
Each shows how much an archive rests on a decision about what is worth recording, and on someone willing to make it. An archive is not what survives on its own, but what someone does, again and again. These performances make those gestures available to be watched, questioned and taken up.
